If you have traditional insurance, you are free to use it to cover referrals, lab testing, and other costs incurred outside of Trailhead Med’s monthly fees and in-office costs. If you do not have insurance, Dr. Peebles will strive to find you the most affordable cash-pay option available. Part of this is done through negotiating for discounted lab, radiology and medication prices. While you can save a lot of money (and frustration) through DPC, it is always recommended to have high-deductible catastrophic insurance or to join a Health Sharing Plan for emergency situations.​
