How Insurance Fits In
While we do not take insurance at Trailhead Med, we believe insurance plays an important role for major, unexpected medical events. If you have traditional insurance, you are welcome to use it to cover specialty referrals, lab testing, and other costs incurred outside of Trailhead Med’s monthly fees and in-office costs. If you do not have insurance, Dr. Peebles will strive to find you the most affordable cash-pay option available. While you can save a lot of money (and frustration) through DPC, it is always recommended to have a high-deductible catastrophic insurance or medical cost sharing plan for emergency situations.
